Michael Tesis
Digital Engineering Student

About Me

I am a second year Honors undergraduate student at Long Island University pursuing a bachelor degree in Digital Engineering. In 2024 I graduated from Leon M. Goldstein High School with a 4.0 GPA and Honors. While I was in High School, I was an active participant of the Science Olympiad team and tutored at the Bay Academy Science Olympiad team. The Bay Academy Science Olympiad team has been the best in New York City for many years and became the only New York City team to make it to Nationals. I have also participated in Robotics competitions and clubs. My interests in technology and science led to me to choose Digital Engineering, which combined them together, as my field of study. I completed three semesters at LIU with a GPA of 4.0 and plan to maintain this GPA through the rest of my studies at the university. After my graduation I plan to find a position in the IT industry, preferably involving AI and other cutting edge technologies. Currently I am looking for projects or internships that would allow me to obtain practical experience in my field.
